Client Reviews from Amorgos
We loved the island. Car hire allowed us to see most
of the island on excellent roads, stunning views! We liked the Hotel Vigla very much; it is impeccably run, owners very friendly and helpful.

Lakki Village was the most beautiful Mediterranean garden that I have ever seen. It has the advantage of being laid out about 40 years ago so is now fully mature. The beach was perfect for swimming and surprisingly the new salt water pool is very well designed and fits in with its surroundings.

Lakki Village could not have been more welcoming ... we were glad we were in the maisonette 'away from it all.' The maisonette was well appointed, well kept and a lovely, quiet place to stay. Amorgos island was well worth visiting - nicely un-touristy. It kept us amused for all the time we were there - walking, seeing the sights, enjoying the variety of beaches and eating well at the good choices of tavernas

Lovingly refurbished in recent years, it is quite simple but combines atmosphere with convenience. There’s a café/bar at street level (very occasional noise) and a shady breakfast terrace. All rooms have sea view, with a panorama across to Tholaria.
Air-con, fridge. RO.

A stunning panorama of the bay below, whilst a few steps away is the almost mediaeval village. An airy reception area leads to a huge dining terrace. The rooms have large balconies. The family will look after you splendidly. The beach and port, with a row of tavernas, is within walking distance, but the bus (or taxis) take only a few minutes.
Cat B; air-con, TV, phone, hair-dryer, safe-box; B&(buffet)B or HB.

Open straight on to the sandy beach, five minutes’ walk from the village centre. It has studios and 1-bedroom apartments as well as rooms without kitchen, all recently refurbished. A large reception area where breakfast and meals may be bought overhangs the beach – and there’s now a sea-water pool.
Pool, air-con, hair-dryer, TV, fridge, phone; RO or S/C 2-4 pers.

Embrostiada Traditional Guest House, Chora
A new find – a charming, high quality boutique villa comprising a clutch of very comfortable studios with well equipped kitchenettes. Quiet situation at the top of the town, which all the rooms overlook – even the occasional glimpse of the sea and/or hills. The really elegant and atmospheric place to stay in the Chora.
